Our founder and namesake, Gordon Milar, started building homes in the Salt Lake Valley in 1976. What began on the job site evolved over decades of hands-on mastery before incorporating as Gordon Milar Construction LLC in 1997. Over 50 years, Gordon and his family have refined a custom process centered on transparency and craftsmanship, ensuring every project along the Wasatch Front truly reflects the family who calls it home.
We have built hundreds of custom homes ranging from 1,200-square-foot ramblers to sprawling 10,000+ square-foot estates. We are small enough to be personal and flexible in our designs and processes, yet established enough to maintain long-term partnerships with Utah’s finest trade and industry partners.
